Any snow that is thrown into the street could be thrown back onto the sidewalk by snowplows.
All vehicles must be moved from the Snow Emergency Routes, which are clearly marked with street signs. Any vehicle that is not removed from the Snow Emergency Route, will be towed at the owner's expense.
If you plan to do any type of construction to your home or business, please contact the Code Enforcement Officer prior to commencement of any work to inquire about a building permit. There are some items that do not require a permit; however, it is best to inquire prior to starting a job.
If a building permit is necessary, an application must be completed and returned with a drawing or sketch of the planned work. Once this information is received, it will be reviewed by the Code Enforcement Officer. After approval, the permit will be issued by the Code Enforcement Officer and the applicant will be contacted to come into the office to pay the fee and collect your permit.
